As I said, it's about preference - do you want your units to survive longer? Or do you want them to hit like a truck? Your choice. For myself, if the title was "top 6 list" instead of "top 5", I would have placed offense at sixth place therefore, I can't really say which one of those two skills is better or worse. Between armorer and offense it's about preference, If someone favors playing Stronghold - they would probably value offense higher. With armorer skill your units are less likely to die which means your army stays healthy & strong.
